Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer with experience in AEM and Java/J2EE-based web application development for our Retail Engineering Content Strategy team.
The position requires excellence in communication and building consensus among peers and across teams, along with the ability to work well with business partners from a wide range of backgrounds with varying levels of technical knowledge.
Job Responsibilities
- Join the IS&T Retail Engineering Content Strategy team to drive and implement large-impact projects.
- Work on the development team for design and implementation of content management applications.
- Architect, Design, Develop, Implement, and Deploy high availability web applications including CMS applications.
- Work and collaborate with multi-functional teams to achieve large initiatives.
- Drive projects from concept to delivery, with a focus on long-term scalability and performance.
- Implement reusable and modular code solutions for enterprise-level applications.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 4 years of professional software development experience using Java/J2EE technologies.
- 2+ years of experience in designing and developing enterprise-level content management systems using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
- Experience with microservices architectures and container-based deployment (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Hands-on knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS for web development.
- Experience with CI tools like Jenkins, Maven, Hudson, etc.
- Ability to perform code reviews and review technical designs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Spring Framework, SpringBoot, ORM (e.g., Hibernate), and RESTful services.
- Familiarity with core technology frameworks like GraphQL, Apache Sling, Apache Felix, and OSGI.
- Experience in AEM upgrades and customizations for real-time content delivery.
- Adobe certified AEM architect is a plus.
- Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, jQuery) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience working on large-scale projects.
